WARP SUMMIT 2014 KOREA

World Alliance of Religions Peace Summit seeks to create a forum for
dialogue centering on the creation of a commonly acceptable value-system
between secular and religious communities in all socio-political sectors
of our divers societies.

Ideological differences based on religion or culture are the cause of war
in our world today, is not too much to say that these differences are
exploited to heighten the communitys propensity for violent behavior.

The goal of the WARP SUMMIT is as follow;

1.To begin the process of establishing a universally applicable system
of values focusing on aspects of morality and experience of life that
bind us together as a global family.

2. Establish a basic ideological foundation upon which a World Alliance of Religions
can be built in order to bring conflicts founded on differing religious ideologies to an end.

3. Draft and publicly make the Declaration of the World Alliance of Religions.

4. Define the roles of cultural leaders, both secular and religious,
in the creation and implementation of a new, heavenly culture.

HWPL Man Hee Lee

HWPL Man Hee Lee

Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) is a non-governmental organization whose mandate it is to put an end to war and restore world peace.

The founder of HWPL, Man Hee Lee attended as a soldier of Korean Civil War. He saw many deaths and tragedies and it leads him to work for peace.

He made an organization for peace, HWPL, in Korea. And there are branches all over the world.

The reason why I pay attention to Man Hee Lee,  the representative of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), is because he actually do something for peace.
Not only he speaks about peace, but also he actually solve conflicts and organize peace events.

Last yearMan Hee Lee solved religious conflict in Philippine last year. He has paid his third visit to Philippine and during his stay he has advised the Archbishop and three Bishops to sign a Peace Agreement at a Nunnery. The purpose of Chairman Lee’s visit was to conclude the Peace Agreement which can lead to settle the conflict in the Mindanao region.

Archbishop Antonio J. Ledesma (the diocese of Cagaya de Oro) has met Mr. Lee for the first time on September 2013 and ever since their meeting, he has continually invited the Chairman many times to pay a visit in Philippine and to respond, the Peace advocate has decided to travel despite the region’s tight vigilance.

In Mindanao, 1,000 participants including students of Mindanao State University, members of International Youth Group, and religious leaders joined the event, transcending the boundaries of religion and nationality for the first time in this region.

This movement created a great sensation and hopes among the Filipinos, who yearn for peace and it initiated a wave of peace within international societies, media, and people.

After the Peace Walk, students of Mindanao State University, Youth Groups, Mayors, University professors, Catholic leaders and Islamic leaders, who had participated in the Peace Walk gathered in the conference room of a hotel located in downtown General Santos.

Speeches about conflict and the solution to peace in Mindanao Island were delivered in the following order: the representative of Catholic (Fernando Capalla, former archbishop of Mindanao Davao), the representative of Islam (Esmael, governor of Maguindanao, and Islamic autonomous district in Mindanao) and Chairman Manhee Lee.

The representatives of Catholic and Islam united to sign the peace agreement for ending the war and achieving World Peace and pledged to work together with Chairman Manhee Lee of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light).

Man Hee Lee put a lot of efforts to meet religion leaders and government people to do peace related work.
For instance, he traveled around the world with 16 countries during one month, and signed peace treaties with 12 former and current presidents in East Europe and Latin America.
He asserts that “Let’s Make a World without War”

During his nine trips around the global village over the last three years, he signed peace treaties with presidents of nation states, and went on to making the headlines by signing the peace treaty with the leader of the Roma of 14 million and the leader of the 12 million Mayan people.

During his tour to Latin America, the Guatemalan government presented a letter of appreciation for joining the two leaders of the Guatemalan government and the Mayan people in signing a peace treaty last year. Lee was also invited to lay flowers at the Monument of Peace in the presidential palace.

In Peru, he signed a peace treaty with the leader of the 14 million Incas. He said “Many leaders already heard the news about the private peace treaty in Mindanao, the Philippines and has asked to meet me.” Also he explained that “They agreed that either party will not repeat the bad history of causing disputes”

With above results, Lee Man Hee received attention from all around the globe by leading the private peace treaty in Mindanao, the Philippines, which was considered the largest conflict area in Asia.

East Europe and Latin America was reported saying at an interview, “After Mr. Lee's peace movement has been reported, leaders of various countries and local religious leaders have joined in this peace movement.” and “Local reaction to his peace movement was explosive,” she added.

Lee calls himself ‘a peace messenger following God’s will’.

After seeing that Lee brings real results wherever he goes, local people of conflict areas and regions suffering from civil wars are eagerly asking him to visit their country.

This is why he can't stop peace movement.
