During the 22nd World Peace Tour last December, Mr. Man Hee Lee and the peace delegation visited Israel and Palestine, an area referred to as the 'Powder Keg of the World'. They also visited Albania and Kosovo, countries which have risen up after overcoming the wounds of a long-lasting conflict.

● Support of Former and Current Presidents and Women
President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, President BujarNishani of Albania, and President AtifeteJahjaga of Kosovo conversed with Mr. Man Hee Lee during the peace talk and deeply sympathized with the necessity of "The Implementation of an International Convention on the Cessation of War." They all promised to cooperate.
Mr. Man Hee Lee gave a speech at the 「International Conference Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Fall of Communism in Albania」 and emphasized the necessity of the "Implementation of an International Convention on the Cessation of War" to the presidents of Eastern Europe and leaders, asking them for their cooperation.

● Willingly became 'HWPL Peace Schools'
The following visit to Kosovo by Mr. Man Hee Lee and the peace delegation was made possible upon request by a supreme court judge and Kosovo’s former prime minister. In addition, all the universities Mr. Man Hee Lee and the delegation visited willingly became 'HWPL Peace Schools' affirming their determination to actively inform others about the works of Mr. Man Hee Lee.

● With the heart of a mother let us protect the children!
While Mr. Man Hee Lee placed his efforts in the Implementation of the International Convention on the Cessation of War, the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG, Chairwoman Nam Hee Kim), HWPL's partner organization, led the “movement for the international convention on the cessation of war" under the slogan, "With the heart of a mother let us protect the children."
Including last December’s IWPG event in India--where 10,000 women voluntarily held an event--other women’s groups from various countries have also actively promoted IWPG’s “Movement for the international convention on the cessation of war.”

● The role of women
Also IWPG held 2016 network peace forum on January 19, 2016 at the peace training Institute in Gyeonggi-do where 500 women leaders participated for discussion on the role of women in the implementation of the international law for the cessation of war and achievement of world peace.
At this forum, participants expressed their strong support for heavenly culture world peace, restoration of light Initiative for enactment of an international convention on cessation of wars and achievement of world peace (hereafter international convention) at this timely moment in which terrorism is occurring in many parts of the world and North Korea’s nuclear testing is threatening peace.
Princess Maria Amor Torres, president of We Care for Humanity, our role is to promote IWPG peace work to women and children around the world. Maria Torres expressed in her speech that are here today, because we believe in Chairwoman Nam Hee Kim's advocacy to empower women and attain gender equality towards world peace.

● Achievement of World Peace Becoming a Reality
HWPL was established a few years ago to foster peace in a world fraught with conflict. Its arms, IWPG and IPYG have also been in the forefront of eliciting support for peace within their respective constituencies.
In order to propel the international convention on the cessation of war, HWPL has launched the "HWPL International Law Peace Committee" comprising of scholars specializing in international law. These are those who commemorated the "1st Annual Commemoration of the September World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Summit" last year and prepared the first draft of the international convention on the cessation of war.
In November of last year, during Mr. Lee's 21st World Peace Tour, the HWPL International Law Peace Committee members had an in-depth discussion on the implementation of an international convention on the cessation of war. This included "The legislation on the banning of arms sales" in London, England.

On the day of the conference Mr. Lee emphasized, "The perfect international law should be made for the cessation of war, including the prohibition of acts of aggression, the prohibition of the sales of arms, the prohibition of military training, and etc."
The committee members who were there had criticisms stating, "Existing international law has numerous problems." The reason is, "People who created international law did not have complete cessation of war in mind like Mr. Lee does."

● Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War
On the 14th of March 2016, a great event took place in South Korea, Seoul, the ceremony of proclamation of declaration of cessation of war and achieving world peace.
The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War comprises ten major Articles : Prohibition of threat or use of force, War potential, Friendly relations and the prohibition of acts of aggression, State boundaries, Self determination, Dispute settlement, right to self defence, Freedom of religion, Religion, ethnic identity and peace as well as spreading a culture of peace.
This proclamation is bringing the efforts of the youth, women, religious people, media practitioners and politicians together.
