War Stories(2) Hate breeds hate. On the contrary, love breeds love!

War Stories(2) Hate breeds hate. On the contrary, love breeds love!

In my last article, I wrote about the 『Suicide notes of soldiers who killed themselves during the war』.

The political leaders who decided to provoke war doesn’t fight on the front line. My precious children and my siblings are up for war.

For whom is this war, wherein a child loses his or her parents and parents lose their child?

Lots of people lost their home and wandered around and lots of children lost their parents and became orphan which leads to their death, too.

“Where are you from? Where do you live?”

Moreover, even in the school, children are having a war with silence by bullying.

The neighborhood, career of their parents, the brand they wear in, etc. Starting with economic level, we are in the society which our children are discriminating and taking sides by themselves.

I strongly wish that hating each other and hatred against others fade away just because nationality, race, religion, ideology and political opinion is different.

Our society ought to have none of discrimination and hatred by accepting diversity of you and I with open mind and compromising differences of opinion by communicating.

Don’t you think that it’s right to participate in such movement which can achieve peace together by overcoming differences of each human being?

I want our children to live the world which the word of ‘war’ cannot be found even in the dictionary in the future. To achieve, every one of you should pay attention to the efforts of endeavor for 'peace'.

To end agony of the war, to hand down peaceful world to our descendant, Please, join in our sign-ups.

War Stories(1) Suicide notes of soldiers, Wishing the Cessation of War

War Stories(1) Suicide notes of soldiers who killed themselves during the war,
Wishing the Cessation of War...

A suicide note of a soldier who committed suicide in the Second World War

"I realized that I was not normal when I was relieved being alive while other soldiers are dying besides me."

"I had lots of friends before D-day. However, right after we had landed, half of my friends died. Last week, I had a friend whose name was Thomas who saved me three times. When he was shot by MG and dying, I couldn’t do anything.

And yesterday, a friend of mine whose name was Daniel called out his mom right before his death after being shot. From now on, I’m all alone. But the truth is I don’t want to be alone anymore."

"Even German soldiers were human being, not a monster…”

Suicide note of a soldier who committed suicide in the Pacific War

"When I joined the army, I swore the God that I’d kill evil. And I thought Japs(Japan) were evil to kill. That’s why I’ve killed over, over and over again. Japs who still breath, I pulled Japs’ gold crown teeth and enjoyed watching them being suffered. I enjoyed watching Japs writhing and dying suffered from burning which was caused by a flame-thrower. It was like watching dancing girl on crazy Friday night. But, the fact was they were human being. I was the one who was evil. And, I’m going to kill the evil."

The suicide note of a soldier who committed suicide in the Vietnam War

"I was scared. I was too scared. I didn’t care either they were Vietcong or civilians. It was too scary. I was so scared that I couldn’t figure out whether the food was given out of good intention or the bomb hidden under. That’s why I shot them all. I did what I did because I was just so scared."

※ He committed suicide right before the arrest by U.S. army caused by massacring civilians.

"I’m sorry, kid. I thought you were gonna shoot me. I’m sorry, pregnant lady. I thought you were carrying a bomb not a baby. I’m sorry, pops. I thought you were holding AK not a cane. I’m sorry, my friend. I thought you are Vietcong."

"I want to kill people. But, I can’t see them. So, I rather kill myself."

※ He was under custody due to hallucination. But, he wrote suicide note with his blood and committed suicide.

"Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me…"

※ An isolated U.S. army soldier committed suicide after writing a full page of “help me”.

"My father saved the world from the Nazis when WW II. Why am I battling right here, right now?"

Suicide note of soldier who committed suicide in the Iraqi War

"I didn’t kill the threats to U.S. so far. I’ve been killing myself."

The youth chose to commit suicide who was supposed to dream the future. The reason was the war.

The war was like an evil killing not only you but also ourselves.

Importance of Peace Education, The power to change world!

Importance of Peace Education, The power to change world!

A formal peace deal for Colombia was signed in the Cuban capital Havana by the government’s chief negotiator and his counterpart in the largest rebel group the FARC.

The entire globe enjoyed this moment in September, which declared the end of the last military conflict in Latin America.

A Bullets used in combat were transformed into pens to signal the hope of peace in the world when they appeared in the signing of the peace agreement between the Government of Columbia and the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia)

The pens was inscribed with this message in Spanish ; "Bullets wrote our past. Education, our future."

Colombians have rejected a peace deal

However, happy-ending soon soured into frustration and disappointment. The result of Colombia's referendum was a narrow rejection of the peace deal.

Voters in Colombia have rejected a landmark peace deal with Farc rebels in a shock referendum result, with 50.2% voting against it.

The major causes for the rejection

Media coverage now shows some of the major causes for the rejection.

First, there was a clear injustice as the peace accord gave great leniency to those in the FARC who violated human rights against citizens.

Second, the FARC's participation in congress with guaranteed seats that was agreed upon as a means of integrating the members back into society was criticized as an undemocratic decision.

National sentiment also weighed heavily against the peace deal. According to the United States Institute of Peace, the higher education offered to the FARC as a benefit of the peace deal inflicted reverse discrimination against the majority of Colombian citizens since that type of quality education has been unattainable for them.

This calls attention to, and shows the necessity of, the message inscribed on the bullets-turned-pens used in the peace deal. Colombia's future vision for a world of peace that overcomes the prevalence of war must be founded on education.

The absence of quality education for the majority of Colombians has resulted in controversy over the benefits given to the FARC as a result of the peace deal.

Peace in Colombia depends on the extent to which people can gain access to equal opportunities in education, through which students learn the values of a coexistence based on peace in their country.

Colombia signs new peace deal with FARC

The Colombian government and the country's largest rebel group, the FARC, have signed a revised peace deal.

Colombia is faced with the responsibility to enhance democracy and the quality of life for its citizens.

Now the implementation of the peace deal, with its vision of peace based on education, will be the next step.

Education has the power to change world!

I think that 'peace education' is the most important in education.

If there exists ‘peace education’ to mankind, there won’t be a war which kills and killed each other.

We need to realize that cessation of war is the work of peace.

Race, gender, religion, language, nations, etc.…

With no questions asked, discrimination has to be disappeared on globe and we need to make it happen.

The pointless War

The place that used to boast a bright and colourful light was ruined by the war.

There are many children suffering from the deprivation of war in the world. And many people lost their families, friends and homes.

Many people are still suffering from the scars of war, for whom is this war for?

These days, I think it's sad that so many people now are hating each other and causing conflicts or war because of the difference in their religion, language, nations, etc.…

The devil (one who loves dispute) is dispute itself and therefore declares war.

The war is the worst choice and the worst answer!

Because the God is peace and love, God’s Son Jesus also proclaimed peace and love, and greeted with “Shalom.”

We must discard religious hatred and exclusion activities. With no questions asked, discrimination has to be disappeared on globe and we need to make it happen. I wish you all to become one in God’s love.

HWPL Peace Law ; DPCW is the ways to resolve the conflicts that cause of poverty

HWPL Peace Law ; 「DPCW」 is the ways to resolve the conflicts that cause of poverty

There are many people suffering from the deprivation of war in the world.

Due to armed conflicts caused by diverse elements, such as negative historical sentiments, ethnic and religious disputes, and military and political relations with neighboring countries, the overall infrastructure of society is destroyed, resulting in direct effects on every aspect of peoples’ lives.

For example, among the countries exposed to poverty caused by conflicts, Yemen and Syria hold the highest ranks. These two countries have suffered continuous conflicts and civil wars.

In Yemen, 14 million, more than half of the population, are living in poverty, while in Syria, 8.7 million Syrians, 27% of the population of the country, are facing the crisis of poverty caused by the ongoing conflict that has lasted for 5 years already. (World Food Programme)

Furthermore, government that is stricken by long-term conflict is unable to provide and manage policies or legal systems for the people, who are then completely exposed to the unstable social structure and become surrounded by the barrier of poverty.

The lack of an institutional strategy that ceases conflicts, in order to break the cycle, and its systematic implementation only increase the number of people living in poverty.

In order to cut off the vicious cycle of poverty, an institutional framework is needed that blocks any actions leading down the path of conflict, and by extension poverty, and that legalizes peace to be enjoyed as a fundamental human right and creed.

「The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW)」 suggests and advocates the following.

“Ensuring the acceptance of principles and the institution of methods, that armed force should not be used, save in accordance with the limitations prescribed by international law, Reaffirming faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity… and the promotion of social progress and better standards of life for people and future generations and the need to facilitate peaceful coexistence among the world’s religions, beliefs, and ethnicities.”

After conflict is ended through the governance of an international document, which has its principles based on the DPCW, peace can be realized

HWPL will deliver these sign-ups which is people’s wishes all around the world and urge UN to legislate DPCW as a bill of binding authority.

Please, sign up for DPCW being legislated as a bill of binding authority.

Today is the day for choosing peace not for war. Choosing peace is truly needed for your country and your people.
