A month ago, The French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has been attacked 

by gunmen,
who have killed 12 people at its Paris offices.

한달 전, 프랑스 파리에서 풍자 전문 주간 샤를리 엡도 잡지사에 괴한이 쳐들어와 
총을 난사해 직원과 경찰 12명이 숨진 사건이 발생했습니다.

I'm Charlie!!!

 

On account of this terrorism, the wave of mourning has spread throughout Europe.

In France, about 100,000 people went out to street to mourn the victims.

In SNS such as Twitter and Facebook, the slogan 
"Je suis Charlie (I'm Charlie)" from bearing the name of 
the publisher has been diffused.

이번 프랑스 파리 테러로 유럽 전역에 추모의 물결이 번지고 있는데요.

프랑스에서는 10만여 명이 거리로 나와 희생자들을 추모했습니다.

트위터와 페이스북 등의 SNS에서는 출판사의 이름을 딴 
'내가 샤를리다'(Je suis Charlie) 슬로건이 확산됐었죠.

Online mourning fervor also has been continued. 

Many SNS profile photos have been changed 

into the slogan of "I am Charles." and Charlie Hebdo hashtag. has spread.

온라인에서도 추모 열기가 이어져 SNS 프로필 사진을 '내가 샤를리다' 슬로건으로 바꾸고 있고, Charlie Hebdo 해시태그가 번지고 있습니다.

Allah is great!?!

 

After the crime, two terrorist suspects was known to shout "Allah is great".

Charles Hebdo mercilessly lampooned not only Kim Jong Eun (3rd Supreme Leader of North Korea) but also the Pope. 

So, There had been a big controversy over the debate of Whether freedom of speech or profanity.

Because of depicting Islam as humorous and obscene, terror threats from Islamic fundamentalist had been continued. 

In November, 2011, the magazine's offices were fire-bombed when it published a cartoon of Muhammad under the title "Charia Hebdo".

샤를리 엡도 테러 용의자 2명은 범행 후 "알라는 위대하다"라고 외친 것으로 알려졌습니다.

샤를리 엡도는 북한의 김정은과 교황까지도 신랄하게 풍자하는 주간지로 줄곧 언론 자유냐, 

신성 모독이냐는 논란을 몰고 다녔습니다.

이슬람을 우스꽝스럽고 외설적으로 묘사해 이슬람 근본주의자들의 테러 위협이 이어졌고, 

2011년 11월 화염병 공격을 받기도 했습니다.

Freedom of expression?!?

Some satirical cartoons of Charles Hebdo such as Muhammad satire were 
criticized for insulting Islam itself beyond the degree. 

The chief editor who was murdered emphasized the "freedom of expression".

I do not support Charlie Hebdo's excessive coverage.......

But, it can not justify ruthless terrorist activity.

Religious ideology to try to protect by killing others is not the faith God want.

무함마드 누드 만평 등 샤를리 엡도가 그린 일부 만평들은 이슬람 자체를 모욕했다는 

비판과 함께 만평이 도를 넘어 섰다는 지적도 나왔지만, 

이번에 피살된 편집장은 '표현의 자유'를 강조했었죠.

샤를리 엡도의 도가 지나친 보도를 지지하진 않습니다만…….

그것이 무자비한 테러를 정당화할 수 없습니다.

남을 죽여서까지 지키고자 하는 종교적 이념은 신이 원하는 믿음이 아닙니다.

Religious beliefs and role of public opinion

 

They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone 

who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. - John 16:2 -

It is such a shame that in the religious world, 

man-made religious precepts and ideas are regarded as how to serve God.

And I'm really sorry that the media that can kill or live people is 

overusing distorted coverage and provocative articles while losing the fairness.

While looking at the Charlie Hebdo terrorist incidents that happened in this France in Paris, 

I think about mistaken religious beliefs and role of public opinion.

때가 이르면 무릇 너희를 죽이는 자가 생각하기를 이것이 하나님을 섬기는 예라 하리라. 
- 요한복음 16:2 -

사람이 만든 종교적 법도와 생각 등을 마치 하나님을 섬기는 예라 여기는 일이 
우리 종교 세계에 비일비재하게 일어나고 있다는 사실이 너무나 안타깝습니다.
그리고 사람을 죽이기도 하고 살리기도 하는 언론의 펜대가 공정성을 잃은 채 
왜곡 보도를 남발하고, 자극적 기사를 도배할 때는 참 속상합니다.
이번 프랑스 파리에서 일어난 샤를리 엡도 테러 사건을 보면서 
언론의 사명과 그릇된 종교적 신념에 대해서 생각을 해보게 되네요.
