Chairman Lee Man Hee says,
Current corrupted religions should reform and unify.
The Head of the International Woman's Peace Group, Kim Nam Hee, and Chairman Lee Sang Myun of the Chunji Ilbo newspaper invited The President Lee Man Hee of the HWPL to make
a speech regarding the establishment of the Global Peace Forum, which has
a goal of world peace and unification so that our descendants can inherit a world without war.

'전쟁 없는 평화의 세계와 통일된 조국을 후손에게 물려주자'는 취지로
'지구촌 전쟁종식 평화포럼'과 하늘문화세계평화광복 이만희 대표 초청강연을 진행했다.

The unification of religions in order to stop war
"For how many years have so many wars and disputes been fought due to religion?
God gave us religion, so how can you say that religion belongs only to yourself or to myself?
Now, we should unify our religions to purify them of corruption.
If we do this, wars will stop and true world peace will be achieved."
Peace Messenger and HWPL Chairman Man Hee Lee spoke at the Riverside Hotel in Seochogu to open
the Peace Forum for the Global Cessation of War on January 26.
He also spoke about the importance of
the unification of religions in order to stop war.
He criticized that many religions spend more time defaming others than in coming together.
"종교 때문에 얼마나 많은 분쟁과 전쟁이 일어났는가, 네 종교, 내 종교가 어딨나.
하늘이 준것인다 이제 부패된 종교 세상 끝내고 하나가 돼야 한다.
그리하면 전쟁이 종식되고 세계평화가 이뤄질 것이다."
'평화의 사자' 하늘문화세계평화광복(HWPL)이만희 대표가 26일 서초구 리버사이드 호텔에서 열린
'지구촌 전쟁종식 평화 포럼'에서 이같이 말하며, 전쟁종식을 위한 종교통합의 중요성을 역설했다.
화합이 아닌 비방만하는 종교인들에겐 일침을 가하기도 했다.

The main key to ending war
Chairman Man Hee Lee emphasized that
there will be no more war since there is nothing religious people cannot do once they have righteously made up their minds.
As an example, they can put an end to the Island of Mindanao's 40 year dispute.
The religious leaders who provide their
descendants with an inheritance of peace instead of war, such as in the case of the Mindanao dispute, show that religion can play
a decisive role in ending conflict.
The main key to ending war depends upon religious leaders and the hearts of religious people.
He also pointed out that even though most of the people who are sacrificed in war are young men, nothing, such as their countries, politicians or laws, can truly compensate them for their sacrifice.
Due to this fact,
religious people must raise their voices to get rid of conflict even if they might be crucified since religion is the reason for over 80% of global war and disputes.
이대표는 민다나오섬의 40년 분쟁을 종식시켰던 사례를 예로 들며
"종교인 한 사람만 마음을 잘 먹어도 전쟁이 없어진다. 못할 게 없다"고 강조했다.
종교간 갈등으로 빚어진 민다나오 분쟁은 종교 대표자들이 전쟁이 아닌'평화'를 후손에 물려 주겠다고 결단한게 결정적 역할을 했다.
전쟁 종식의 "열쇠"가 종교인과 종교지도자들의 마음에 달렸다는 것이다.
전란에서 희생되는 대부분은 청년이지만 이들에 대한 보상은 나라도, 정치도, 법도 해 주지 못했다는 점도 지적했다.
때문에 전세계 분쟁 전쟁 요인의 80%이상을 차지하는 종교 갈등 해결을 위해서 "종교인들이 십자가를 지더라도 (분쟁을) 없애야 한다"고 목청을 높였다.

Unification of All Religious Scriptures for World Peace
The idea of
creating religious books that suggest practical ways to unify religions received a great response from the participants.
The premise of the approach is based on the idea that if there was a book which provides information on which religious text can forgive sins, most clearly outlines historical genealogy or actually comes from heaven, etc.,
people would not have to struggle in deciding which holy book is the most believable and join together.
Chairman Man Hee Lee clarified that
religions will become one when they are united under the most believable holy book.
This comparatory work of looking at different holy books is being actively conducted by the religious leaders who participated in World Alliance of Religions Peace Summit last September.
Accordingly, Religious Alliance offices, where the work of the religious leaders is being conducted, have begun to be established in the Americas and in Africa.
세계평화 위해 종교경서 통일
'종교통합'을 이루는 실질적 방법으로 제안한 '종교 경서 통일'은 참석자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻기도 했다.
각 종교의 경서에 죄사함 받을 수 있는 자료가 있는지 역사 족보가 뚜렷한지
참으로 하늘에서 준 것인지 등의 내용이 있는가를 따져 가장 믿을만한 경서로 하나가 되자는 제안이다.
이만희 대표는"가장 믿을 만한 경서로 하나 될때 종교가 통일 될 것"이라며
"이미 지난해 9월 만국회의에 참여했던 종교지도자들을 중심으로 작업이 활발히 진행되고 있다"고 밝혔다.
확인한 바에 의하면 실제 이를 위해 미주, 아프리카등에 HWPL의 간판을 건 종교연합사무실이 속속 생겨나고 있다.

Sharply criticized the behavior of the Korean religious world
Meanwhile, the overseas religious world, which actively supported HWPL and the Peace Movement of Chairman Lee,
sharply criticized the behavior of the Korean religious world that has recently been disturbed with lies.
Chairman Man Hee Lee deplored the slander and profane language of local Korean churches as well as their hindering HWPL's volunteer work and the tearing down of the Declaration of the Peaceful Reunification of Korea.
In addition, it can even be noted that the local TV broadcast show, MBC's PD Notebook, has twice made up stories about SCJ, the last of which contained 14 different lies.
Furthermore, the overseas religious world has highly complimented Korea on becoming a "peaceful country", despite the disturbing actions of some of the local religious organizations.
HWPL과 이만희 대표의 평화 행보에적극 지지를보내는 해외 종교계와 달리,
거짓으로 방해하는 국내 종교인들의 행태에 대해선 날카롭게 비판했다.
"입에 담지 못할 비방 욕설을올리고, 통일을 염원하며 세운 조국통일선언문은 철거했다"며
"심지어 자원봉사도 못하게(방해)하고 14가지 거짓말을 지어내 MBC PD 수첩에 2번에 걸쳐
방송하게 하는 등의 일을 하고 있다"고 동탄했다.
이어 "해외 정치 종교계에선 대한민국이 '평화의 국가'가 됐다고 극찬하고 있는데,
<국내 종교인들은>방해만 안 해도 좋겠다"며 안타까움을 드러냈다.

Religions should also promote peace.
Chairman Man Hee Lee criticized the domestic religious world for their habitual use of profane language in particular, rather than working with the peace movement of HWPL.
He also noted that local church organizations are allowing people to buy licenses to be pastors and to teach the Holy Bible without truly knowing it, which reveals that they are corrupt at every level.
Lee stressed that not every current religion is a true religion and therefore should not be practiced.
In addition, corrupted religions should not be buying and selling pastoral licenses or allowing people to teach without knowing their holy books instead of repenting and communicating with heaven.
Religions should also promote peace.

종교계의 부패한 면면을 드러냈으며,
특히 HWPL의 평화행보에 오히려 비방만을 일삼고 있는 국내 종교계에 일침을 가하기도 했다.
그는 "종교라고 모두다 종교가 아니다. 돈으로 목사 증을 사고팔고, 경서를 모르는 자가
경서를 가르치는 부패한 종교는 끝나야 한다"며 "회개하고 하늘과 통하는 종교, 평화를 만들어가는 종교가 돼야 한다'고 강조했다.

Creating an International Law for the Cessation of War
Furthermore, Chairman Lee appealed to lawmakers and politicians who are actively participating in quickly
creating an international law for the cessation of war.
In the meanwhile, Chairman Lee is gaining support by participating in meetings with the woman's peace group, the youth group, foreign Supreme Court justices, and former and current foreign presidents on topics like the unification of religions for peace and the establishment of an international law supporting the cessation of war.
Chairman Lee has traveled to 70 different countries over 3 years to promote these two topics as the solutions to accomplish world peace and stop war.
전쟁종식 국제법 제정 강조
더불어 이날 이 대표는 전쟁종식을 위해 국제법 제정이 속히 될 수 있도록 법관들과 정치인들의 참여를 적극 호소하기도 했다.
한편 이 대표는 전쟁종식 세계평화를 이루기 위해 전쟁종식을 위한 국제법 제정,
평화를 위한 종교 대통합이라는 두 가지 해법을 들고 3년여 동안 70여개국을 돌며
전현직 대통령, 대법관, 여성 청년지도자 등을 만나 지지와 동참을 이끌어냈다.
