Domestic 500 leaders in a variety of fields participated!



On 26, International Women's Peace Group (IWPG · Chairwoman Nam Hee Kim),
which held "Global Village Peace Forum for War Termination" in the Seoul,
with eminent persons from various circles participating,
resolved to achieve the world of peace without war 
and to leave the unified fatherland to future generations.

In the event of this day for the 70th anniversary of liberation and division,
about 500 domestic politics, society, religion, women and youth leaders participated.

세계여성평화그룹(IWPG·대표 김남희)은 26일 서울에서 ‘지구촌 전쟁종식 평화포럼’을 열어 
전쟁 없는 평화 세계를 건설하고, 통일된 조국을 후손에게 물려줄 것 등을 결의했다. 
올해 광복과 분단 70주년을 맞아 열린 이날 행사에는 
국내 정치·사회·종교·여성·청년지도자 등 500여명이 참석했다.

Vision for peace, unification on the Korean peninsula and world peace




It attracted attentions that leaders from various areas signed the peace agreement
for the Korean Peninsula's and Earth's peace on the spot.

At the guest lecture, Man Hee Lee, Chairman of Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL),
suggested "Vision for peace, unification on the Korean peninsula and world peace"
receiving fervent responses from participants.

이 자리에서, 각계 지도자들은 ‘한반도와 지구촌 평화를 위한’ 평화협약서에 서명해 눈길을 끌었다.
이날 초청 강연에선 이만희 하늘문화세계평화광복(HWPL) 대표가 
‘세계 평화와 한반도 평화·통일에 대한 비전’을 제시해 참석자들로부터 호응을 얻었다.

Uniting religions into one for peace


last year in January, Chairman Man Hee Lee has gained attention from international community
by playing a decisive role to end '40 years of conflict between Catholic and Muslims' in Mindanao,
the Asia's largest conflict areas.

While touring overseas, Chairman Man Hee Lee has emphasized
"enacting international law  for the end of the war" and "uniting religions into one for peace."

이만희 대표는 지난해 1월 아시아 최대 분쟁지역인 필리핀 민다나오섬의 
‘가톨릭·이슬람 40년 분쟁’을 끝내는 데 결정적인 역할을 해 국제사회에서 주목받았다.
이만희 대표는 해외를 순방하며 ‘평화를 위해 종교가 하나 될 것’과 
‘전쟁종식을 위한 국제법 제정’을 역설해 왔다.

Mother of mind

Last year in September, Cahirman Man Hee Lee held "World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Summit"
successfully in the Seoul Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium,
resulting in the support of political and religious leaders from all around the world.

On this day, when raising the main problem,
Chairwoman Nam-Hee Kim of IWPG said
"In order to achieve peace and end war, 'mother of mind' trying to protect children is urgent"
and stressed the role of women, receiving an ovation.

지난해 9월에는 서울 잠실올림픽 주경기장에서 ‘종교 대통합 만국회의’를 성공적으로 개최해 세계 각국 정치·종교지도자들의 지지를 이끌어냈다.

이날 IWPG 김 대표는 메인 발제에서 “전쟁종식을 이루고 평화를 정착시키기 위해서는 자녀를 지키려는 ‘어머니의 마음’이 절실하다”면서 여성의 역할을 강조해 박수를 받았다.

Woman Should Lead the Korean Peninsula's peace 
and global village's war termination.



Plenty of mothers have lost their children due to endless war.

However, nobody was able to revive flower-like lives of their children.

Because the pain of losing children should no longer be felt by mothers,
International Woman’s Peace Group, under HWPL,
are working together so Women can take action to protect their children from wars.

In the back workings of Chairwoman Nam-Hee Kim’s establishment of the International Women’s Peace Group,
there was Mr. Man Hee Lee’s peace walks.

“한반도 평화와 지구촌 전쟁종식, 여성이 앞장”
끊임없는 전쟁으로 많은 어머니가 자녀를 잃었다. 
그러나 어느 누구도 꽃다운 자녀의 목숨을 되살려주진 못했다. 
더 이상 자녀를 잃은 어머니들의 고통을 볼 수 없기에, 하늘문화세계평화광복(HWPL) 산하 
세계여성평화그룹은 전쟁으로부터 자녀를 지키기 위해 여성들이 나서야 한다며 동참을 이끌어냈다.

Nam-Hee Kim explained
“Even if there is an answer for peace, it is meaningless if peace is unable to be shared with others.
 Therefore, Mr. Lee has traveled the world 14 times to meet people and sow the seed of peace.
 I am a witness to have seen this miracle of peace.” 

She also mentioned
“I truly wish for everyone to see and verify the same thing I have.”

김남희 대표가 세계여성평화그룹을 창설한 배경에는 이만희 대표의 평화행보가 있었다. 
김 대표는 “아무리 평화의 답이 있다고 한들 함께 나누겠다는 사람이 없다면 무슨 소용이 있겠는가. 
그래서 이만희 대표께서 지구 14바퀴를 돌며 수많은 사람을 만나 평화의 씨를 뿌렸다. 
나는 그 평화의 기적을 똑똑히 목격한 증인”이라고 설명했다. 
그는 “모든 사람이 나처럼 이를 보고 확인하기를 소망한다”고 말했다.
