[Peace Activist] The Head of the International Women's Peace Group(IWPG), Nam Hee Kim, with a Mother's Heart

To protect our children from war,

we must act with a mother's heart.

Thus, we (IWPG), from our headquarters in South Korea, 

are acting with that purpose.

All of the world has been supporting a wave of peace 

that transcends religions, nations, ideas and races.

Our focus must be on a unity towards peace, 

not on conflict among religions, ideas and politics.

Finding the unity in peace can truly accomplish world peace.

This is the only way our descendants will 

not inherit any more tragedy in Korea.

If you, all of you in this place, 

become part of a peace family, world

peace and the unification of North and South Korea 

will surely come true in our lifetimes.

If all of us become part of a peace family,

I am assured that we can for sure accomplish world peace and 

the unification of the Korean peninsula in our lifetimes.

It will not be impossible 

if we act as if we have a mother's heart. ^___^

International Women’s Peace Agreement

The world needs the strength and love of mothers 

to protect our children and leave a peaceful world as a lasting legacy. 

It is a mother’s heart that will remind the world how much we need peace.

Though one may be weak, many joined as one can be powerful. 

Join all women in the world by signing the International Women’s Peace Agreement. 

The peace agreement will be delivered to world leaders 

and urge the constitution of an international law that will stop all wars. 

Celebrate being a woman by taking part in the most needed peace movement now.
